Some small patches on the front fenders for my big block powered '59 Chevy 4wd 3600, overhauling the bed is next. I have a pair of rear fenders from a '62, and will be deleting the side-mounted spare. The s55 has it's front and rear glass stainless finally removed, so I can get the pinchwelds cleaned up and a new windshield in it. Winter is finally leaving here in SW Wyoming, so I can get some stuff done here of my own. My buddy has a '48 Plymouth coupe that we will probably get running reliably this weekend, that should be interesting.

Theoretically, my 33. But the progress is slow. Work has been crazy, and it makes me lazy. Finishing an engine swap. Once that is done, I will bring my 49 Merc into the shop, which is the one that truly has my interest. Since funds are low, that will mostly consist of setting ride height and attitude. That is one of the most exciting early parts of a build (to me) and it should be obtainable. And it will feed the fire for future progress.

I'm working on a bottle of Jameson Black Barrel and my second Guinness tonight this being St. Patty's day and the bars are closed due to some virus or another. Had surgery on my thumb this morning so I can't play in the garage for a bit. But if I could there is a 41 ford truck out there needing some attention. Oh yeah, Vicodin. I should quit typing now.

Due to breaking my wrist a week ago I ain't doing shit except hanging around the house and looking over old hot rod books. I am looking forward to Spring Carlisle in a few weeks, if the virus bug doesn't shut it down.

Getting ready to install the wiring on my 28. It's quite a bit further along than this picture. I'll have to take some new ones. IMG_1368.JPG

Strictly an OT vehicle, refreshing a SBC and swapping in a T56 for my oldest daughter. Once done and in I have to look at doing the rearend of the car. Hoping to have it on the road for her this summer, then going to start getting my '57 Chevy PU ready for the road again, it's been sitting for too damned long.

  12. OT sandrail. Single seat, 100", chrome moly frame. 671 blown, aluminum sbc, shortie glide, independent 9" rear and a modified aluminum beam axle. Shooting for less than 1400lbs wet. Should make for an interesting e-ticket ride.

Tomorrow it is converting my grandson's old metal bed frame to a welding fabricating table that is more like jail bars laid flat. The son in law did some severe damage to it when he took it apart in a move, grand kid got a new bed and grandpa got a bunch of metal to play with. Hopefully I can lay some pieces out on it for some cutting and welding on a bit table area.

Changing a head gasket in my '37 Chevy pickup "Deerslayer" . . . Yeah, that's right. Mission creep.

  17. Trying to get this project completely together before my son turns 16 in June and needs something to drive. It has been a fun project with him so far, but we are running out of time.

A V8 A , I bought the body at an auction 20 years ago and started on it then shoved it aside and just got back on it about 1 1/2 years ago. Decided I needed to finish it since I had too much in it to sell it as a project, runs and drives but still not completely together.
