Looks really solid for an east coast car, congrats on your purchase.

  3. Love the old wagons. That one does not look like it has had a hard life. What's the plan?

  18. A/C setup getting transferred also? Neat option. Someone could slap a sbc in the parts car and save it..

Don't know about yall but I think this is so bad ass to see a 348 getting put in instead of the pumpkin spice LS.....

Stubbs that's pretty funny I haven't heard the term "pumpkin spice LS" I really love a "W" motor in a wagon. Back in 64 a friend put a 409 in a 55 Chev. wagon and we used it as a tow car for the MG.

The Jalopy Journal was formed to spread the gospel of traditional Hot Rods and Kustoms to hoodlums worldwide…
That car will never be a traditional hotrod or Kustom so now the Hamb includes Restorations of off-topic cars???

348 with a 4 speed in a wagon sounds like a hot rod to me. ;)

I like it and I'm with the guys that say the pets car should be saved and not sacrificed. Oh well, your money, your labor. Proceed! Ha ha.

Every time I see a 60 Chevy it reminds me of my buddy in HS, way back in 1968. His neighbor had a 60 Impala convert that had a 348 with a three speed. The dumb ass had straight water in it and it froze up and busted the block. He lived in town and after it sat along the street for a few months the cops made him get rid of it. The guy sold it to my friend for $100.00 and we drug it over his dad's garage. He saved another $100.00 and bought a used 327 at the junk yard. So for $200.00 we cruised all summer in a clean looking ragtop!! Damn I miss those days!!!!!!
