Not Homogenized...I was thinking your suggesting using those to recreate a modded Roadster like that picture...not to many of those that's for sure...Quarters and Cowl and a real long Snout...V12 or 16...

...Mike Brodski's Hotrod, Buick Powered, Cycle Fendered, Channeled and Sporting Other Features making it just a little different...the Hotrod seems to have survived albiet now a Street Rod of sorts...

  8. Never wanted a homogenized Phord rod. But that has meant I live up to the name my wife gave me, "Bracket Man!"

I've seen this Hotrod before...Fishtail Exhausts are quite rare in Hotrod/Custom but I have seen them on a few period vehicles and have always liked their swept style...man that's one crowded Hotrod...Always good to see the Younger Crowd involved...Very Cool @1935streetrod

Awesome...I hope you get these moved and again it's quite kind of you to do this and I don't think Hollywood lives in a prison...:D

I am pretty sure he would craft them into something interesting...make sure that he share the build with the Hamb should it come together...;)

I have a similar front suspension on my 27 truck, but it uses air bags. A place called Cen-pen in Ohio made the kit but I don't know if they are still in business. The only other difference is that my two "spring halves" are mounted inside the front crossmember and over the axle. I'm using a dropped axle. Works for me!

They certainly do some oddball stuff track nosed and other...

I just posted that A Bone 34 Roofed Coupe that was in Jive's Thread...

This Thread has a number of Bones Hotrods throughout...but they do keep things evolving and always interesting indeed...;)

I think that Robert's Buddy will have to experiment with springs to achieve desired ride quality...Anchoring those springs wouldn't be a bad idea either...they may have it already but I didn't see any thinking once the springs are in gravity and perhaps shocks will keep them in place.

I believe what you were describing was a new modern derivative posted in his Thread with similarities to the vintage setup they are using and you're right it may work just dandy...I am eager to see it on the ground and I do believe it is going to be a full fender Hotrod.

Here's an unusual combo in a roadster that's still running at the lakes and salt . . .

Ford flathead six? A much underused and underrated engine.

...105mph...that's purdy quick in 1947...heck I think of my Ole Jalopy now at 70 mph is hauling ass...that Hotrod And its Owners have certainly a lot to be proud of...it would be nice to see a duplication of it's former presence in 47...leaving its Dry Lakes Mentor pushing for New Modern Records...

One of my Favs @Stan Back...;)
