Posted on this thread a long time ago. Since my '32 5 window is at upholstery I have room to drag my '62 unibody out and get some work done on it. Swapped in a big window section, filled the dash and firewall, did the rust repair on the roof, got the engine and tranny mounted, started building a custom gas tank, seats and steering mounted, got rid of the wipers, custom gauge insert started, welded the bumper to the bumper brackets and got rid of the carriage bolts, worked the door gaps, custom inner fenders done, custom tailgate built......getting a lot done. More pics in my '32 build thread towards the end. Been posting there while waiting for the '32 to get back home.

  13. von zipper, the first picture looks like a model car. Is that a setting on your phone that makes the picture look that way? Cool truck by the way.

My Dad bought this one in 1968, sold it in the early 70s, made it's way back to me in 1987. 1949 with the original 239 V8. Front disc brakes, 9" rear axle, alternator, rear mounted gas tank and heated seats (a must in any vehicle I own). Box sides are incorrect for a 49 but the 51 and later are much easier to find.

Not mine, but my Brothers. We drove it home from original owner/builder in 2004, Alabama to Pennsylvania. The old girl made the trek, IMG_0525.JPG and many since. Next up CCR 2020.

Here's one that a rancher just gave to me. Not sure yet what I'am going to do with it.

Question, I have uploaded two pictures of my truck twice. It shows in the thread when I'm done but not the next day. Sorry if I'm the "loose nut behind the wheel"
