Outstanding!!! Perfect!!! That's pretty much exactly what I was hoping to do to my 29. ....... Unfortunately, you didn't give me any inspiration, or motivation to finish my project, just the opposite!!! You made me realize I will probably never get it done!!! I'll never find the time, never have the patience and don't have the skills!!! ....... So, what I'm leading to is, I think you should sell/trade it to me. I've got some cash, and can trade my 29 very original Roadster, a real nice Jeep Wrangler, 3 kids, a wife and a dog!!!! .......... On second thought, I could never trade the dog!!! ....... Nice job!!!!

Just got the car back from upholstery. They did a great job, nothing fancy but it looks great.

Agree. Too fancy wouldn’t fit the style of the car. Looks fantastic!

Superb exercise in restraint, attention to detail is outstanding. Remember the devil is in the detail.

Great build! Where did you get the string to wrap and space the spark plug wires? This is a great destabilize that most overlook

In my day Model A on Deuce rails was a Highboy. Had a 29 roadster on Deuce rails years ago, 29 Highboy.

This has to be one of my favorite cars!!!! I Love that you used a Flathead. In my opinion nothing sounds better. Your color choice is top notch as well. I hope you won’t get too mad if I copy some of your ideas when I build mine. Great Thread. It was very well done. Congrats.

Such a great build. Just bought a 1931 Roadster project in Switzerland, which I want to start soon.
So, I did a search for builds and found yours - what a blast!
Thanks for sharing this and give me so many good hints amd recommedations!

    Question for you?

I am building an AV8 in similar fashion. I like the way you add the radiator mount extension. I will have the same problem as I am planning on running a blown 8BA. My front crossmember was bolted in when I purchased the frame. What would happen if you moved the crossmember forward vs adding the extension?

Years ago we used the spring shackles to move our radiator forward 74BBEE63-172A-4715-9EE5-2264A1A975F9.jpeg 92FEFA72-95B8-4468-8722-6DD706E2688C.jpeg
