Tommyd any info on this Anglia that has a class designation A/G G S. It looks like the "Cali Bros."
but it's not. It is Dover though. I wonder what year? Maybe 67/68 there is no marker light on that fender on the right side of the photo.

Great Top Fuel team from the sixties. They always ran hard and put on a great show. I'll never forget standing in the top end pits at old San Gabriel on a Saturday night in 1963 when Norm Weekly was on the march at 190 mph and his arm came up out of the cockpit and he flipped the "bird" to everyone in the "hot pits", never a dull moment.

Frantic Four one of my favorite teams. There were so many great teams & cars in that era.

 

Not exactly racing in action...but...

Irwindale Raceway closed back in 1977 so Miller Beer could build a brewery on the property.
Miller Beer brewery is closing within this year, or that is the current plan.
Bring back Irwindale Raceway..!
Obviously that will never happen, but it would be great of by some stroke of some super powers hand..!
