I LIKE making my own gasket for the sender, as I can make the holes slightly undersize to hold the screws in place. Use heavy paper, coat both sides with brush-on Permatex - silicon doesn't hold-up well to gas. A cork gasket also works well, but the neoprene is best used for a pattern to make one!

My chinky $4 set of gasket punches, assorted gasket paper have been a HUGE timesaver over the years - I can make any paper gasket quicker than the trip to the store to buy one!
