  4. Pat,
that coupe is not the same one you're thinking of. I just talked to Steve and he said it was a different car. I also don't know if he'd want his address posted I know I wouldn't.

Sorry guys but that is not Steve O’Neill’s 33 coupe. There are some earlier pics of coupe earlier in thread posts. Roughly 64-66 car was lettered up as Nestor and Boria and ran a blown Buick. My bud Franny Hetherman redid car early 67 with a legit 426 race Hemi with 1/2” stroke and Hilborn injector and painted it black,,,, car still wears original paint and lettering from 67. It is all steel car except nose and rear fenders. 50F1D457-4EE1-475D-8A01-676FA1E0EC75.jpeg

Steve, Tony and Fordgasser I guess that the original post of the 33 Willys at Island with the #77 on the side fooled me and my buddy who is very knowledgeable of Willys at Island at that time. He had the "Babycakes"41 Willys coupe. And "Fuzzy" Munson also ran a Willys coupe around that time. I can see the difference now in the lettering of the two cars. Sorry for any mis-information but then we still don't know about that Island picture. And Steve I just passed along the e-mail that Fuzzy sent thinking the address was common knowledge, I did omit the phone number but next time I'll fact check more thoroughly before I pass on information.

Called up my friend while still in hospital in Valley Forge PA and told him I wanted to buy the truck that I helped build 5 years earlier. It was completely finished and running. I had my friend take out the 4sp. and put in a turbo 400. It was reddish with a 270 hp 283 and a black r & p interior.
The first day I drive it I hit a famous NYC pothole, I go to step on the brakes and they go right to the floor. This was right at Shea stadium's outfield wall. That's why the body has primer on it. It got painted bright yellow also.
