^^^Church building turned car repair? I like tunes while I wrench but pipe organs are a bit over the top. Baptistry would make a good wash bay though.

Looks like a few of those color photos were in Pittsburg.

There was this old Gulf station on Baum Blvd we used to hang out in back in the 70s, turns out it was the first station in the country...

Here’s a pic of my grandpa’s grocery/gas station probably in the late ‘30’s. That’s my dad standing out front. IMG_4994.JPG

After following this thread and looking at all of the pics my favorites are winter scenes. Not sure why, but I save most of those pics. We (my wife and I) are building a Sinclair type of look in our new shop for my office front. She’s been buying all kinds of cool gas station and Sinclair stuff for the last year. We are finally to the point where we are starting to add the decor. Thanks to Loudbang and others of you that have posted pics b c they helped us a bunch! Regards, Randy

They were tearing down my favorite local gas station this week and I just happened to drive by after they had stripped all of the porcelain wall tiles and lights off. I asked what happened to them and the foreman pointed to the dumpster. I offered to buy them but he said “If you fish them out of the dumpster, you can have them.”
Two hours later I had every piece.

This is what my station looked like before they gutted it to become a hair salon. I'm putting it back as a Shamrock station.
