Here’s for mr yawn. Some of these I have bought, some still sitting. Nearly all are pics I or close friends took

 

Here’s some from a few years back. I may have posted some of them already, if so I am sorry, but it would have been many many pages back

 

It`s been saved.

 

I'm pretty sure that 60 years ago this was a giant "A-Frame" tow truck for lifting cars completely up off the ground. Gardena Stadium had one for lifting wrecked racing jalopies off the track. One day something went wrong and the "A-Frame" suddenly whipped foreword and crushed the cab roof down about 1-foot.

 

Here is a sbc sitting and rotting and getting swallowed up by a tree.

 

Took this a few years back. Wife spotted them in the woods while we were driving. I turned around and snapped a few pics.

 

With a three on the tree.

I agree, I'm a crew cab guy myself. I built a custom work truck from a 75 F-250 4 wheel drive in 88, before the big craze for factory crew cabs in every driveway had really gotten underway. I've put about a 1/2 million miles on it since then. Would have rather started with a 67 - 72 series truck, but couldn't find one.
Wish I'd had one of those late 50's trucks for a starting point, I didn't even know they existed. You've got me drooling.

 

The green 60 Ford crew cab sinking into the earth, I own. I bought it out of Alaska

 

It was bought(not me), then painted by Eldon Titus before he passed away. It was shown in Salina at the KKOA show. It was then bought by a Falcon lover from Ohio. He posted pic`s on the HAMB, he took it to Indy`s Custom Car Revival this past year. I have pictures but scanner is not working.

 

I probably have more pictures. I took those just outside Bozeman Montana many years ago

 

Chris, one of my best old buddies moved to Spokane 20 years ago. If my schedule works out I should be at his place in my home grown motorhome for a few days around Super Bowl weekend. First I have to burn off some airline miles going to the Turlock Swap Meet. I should have it ready by then to drive out to the little states for my annual road trip.
It would be fun to get together and swap tall tales while I'm there.
