I'm trying to identify the manufacturer of this Cadillac bellhousing used on 54-62 331, 365 & 390 ci engines. The only casting markings I can find are on the starter cone KD 25 Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Dan

I found it listed for 55-64 Cadillac to a 55 up GM passenger, 3 or 4 speed. No indication of what flywheel or starter is to be used.

I think I can use Olds flywheel and Cadillac starter.

20131002_135231.jpg That is a very desirable adapter...it only fits Cadillac 1955 to 62..and you can put a Muncie or T10 behind it..

You got Lucky! But Sqeek Bell also made a similar one at one time if anybody else is looking.
And yes you can use and Olds Fly wheel on a Cad. You will need the Cad starter though as it mounts on the Passenger side. Same one you use with a starter flip on an Olds.

Guess I should have read throug the post. That great chart explains it all.

Helpful Catalog , As far as the old ones go I had only seen them adapt to a early [39] style box.
