Not necessarily so, I did that once with car in my avatar for ~ 1/3 of track and still under full power when it came down. It just shimmied front-end a little when it hit and was only about ½ car link behind guy in other lane, I keep peddle down and passed him before finish line for the win. Didn’t hurt car at all…… maybe a little damage to my underwear though .

John Thomas from Holt, MI at the wheel. He ran a series of Wayne Farr built cars and was still active in T/F as late as 1975. Johnny Davis also raced with #328 but obviously this is not him.

Jim Harnsberger in the Mingee-Harnsberger Woody car out of Urbana, IL. He was the T/F runner up at the 1969 AHRA Nationals in Detroit with this car. Harnsberger later drove a late hemi powered full bodied Fuller car for Ray Mattox out of Terre Haute, IN and was runner up at the 1971 NHRA Summernationals.
