Rusty Heaps. It must have been a different car than the one I built . The car came from Ohio and was a rusted out hulk. I saved it from the crusher. This is what I had to work with. 2014-09-11 12.13.49.jpg DSCF3414.JPG .
I built it down in florida and finished it 3 years ago.

Baron, it's easier to just stumble through it again, hopefully if you find the original the story won't have changed too much.
This 150 was a local car driven by the proverbial "little ol lady", I only saw it a couple times a year and it was usually going the opposite direction so never saw it up close.
That is, until the day I came home from work (about 2001) and there it was..............................
PARKED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE, talk about a "holy F#@K moment!
I nearly hurt myself running into the house to get my camera and when I took this photo the camera batteries decided they were done, ran back ìn for new batteries but found none, came back out and you guessed it IT WAS GONE, never saw the car again.
My only guess was she had been visiting the neighbor lady and I didn't ask about it because we never got along very well.

    Hi Hambers
I stripped down and had my old girl painted early this year, black IMO is the only color for these beasties.
My 75 year old Pop working as apprentice helped me put her back together good times.
He's been a part of this car since we spent a week driving to Gore in the South Island to pick it up.
I picked up some 150 repo poverty caps and wheels to get the look I was after, enjoy :)

Hi olscrounger your gorgeous 57 fuely was my inspiration, I love that car!
I've been very lucky with the project so far and in 2018 I picked up an unopened 57 283 power pack engine which came with set of 57 dual quads and twin point dizzy.
Not as cool as a fuely but it should get along nicely ;)
