Hot Rods This Just Speaks Hot Rod.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by lothiandon1940, Dec 31, 2019.

  1. I don't know the owner so I'm not trying to promote his car, and I know these opinions are always personal and subjective, but this little '29 Roadster just screams "Hot Rod" to me. It just landed in the classifieds this morning. I don't think it will stay unsold for long. Man, I love this car.......Don. 7A686433-7579-439E-9856-AD7ED9025689.jpeg 6B8E3E57-B4FD-4B06-B735-9718F86F228F.jpeg

I'd say a 1.6875" schosh with two occupants with a combined weight of less than 312# would do it.

...too bad...I don't trust limited adolescent vocabulary. So if this is the level of conversation I as a new member will get...then I will find another forum to replace HAMB

  20. Sorry,,,they are just funnin some.
The man is right,,,,it needs a little less altitude in the rear.
    Beautiful car though.

You should have been here a few years ago,,,,you would have really been offended by now !

the only thing limited on this site is the generosity shown to newbies that don't care enough about the hobby or the forum to try and fit in...

Come on, don't be a Nancy boy. At least you didn't spend much time filing out your profile so, you don't have a lot of time invested in the HAMB.

PS, Why do they call you Blimpbutt?

Really nice, (is saying "cute" manly?) ride. I whole heartily agree with getting it down in the rear.
I think cars that are built like this is because of not wanting to expend the effort to do so or just plain laziness. This confronted me when I decided to go "HiBoy" quite by surprise. It took a great deal of effort, computations, a good bit of cutting and fabrication of new frame parts fabrication welding and grinding to get it right.:eek:

  27. Well I am not accustomed to seeing real paint on a car any more. That is nice.

For ,y own personal taste it sets a little truckish. But you are absolutely correct it is about as perfect as a hot rod can be. it pretty much sums up A V8 by anyone standards.

This is coming from someone whose handle is "blimpbutt"...

  29. Well I am not sure what limited adolescent vocabulary you are talking about. I scrolled the thread and while most are not as verbose as I normally am in their posts they all seem to speaking English well enough to be understood.

That said let me say this, why don't you take an aeronautical intercourse at a tumbling piece of pastry.
I hope that those words are adult enough for you. ;)
