Goggle is reporting Richards 34 has been sold. Anyone know what the asking price was and what it sold for??:)

Without the Brian Bass connection I could give a rip. I was in a club with his folks when he was a little fart back in the 70's.
Never waste my time watching Gas Monkeys as it's a joke 99% of the time.

Maybe he made enough on it to get started on that '40 Willys gasser.

I did watch for a while couple of years back, got so tired of Richard I also dropped it. I don't watch much of anything on MT at all, it just kinda sucks the way the magazine has always sucked. I like Ian and Full Custom Garage, he is multi talented.

I was watching an old ass monkey today on Discovery, from 2012 I think. They built a nice banger powered Model A Tudor. Wonder what happened to it? It was a medium brown with black trim. Sold back then for $12000 I think. Looked good on the TV, but could have been a pos......

  20. Yes I watch the show with the A build also.. That car does show up in the back ground of shots from time to time.

So one wonders how many really get SOLD for the price stated or even SOLD at all !

That is a beautiful care for sure, but my eye is drawn to the top door hinge. It looks out of place. Was that stock?

Ian is one of the few guys on TV that is in it for the love of the game. He does everything by himself and does it his way. He has a way of looking at things differently than the norm and can make make major jobs look like it's easy. He's one of a kind.

Check out his Back From the Dead videos.

Yes, Full Custom Garage is the only program that I watch. Ian with his talent is a pleasure to watch. Gas Monkey is a joke, like most of the car shows on MT.

  29. Full Custom Garage? I appreciate the no drama, straightforward approach that Ian Roussel takes with the builds, but from what I've seen, most of the metal work looks pretty bad. I'm actually surprised they show some if it on TV. Bondo will never go out of business though.

Ian does his own thing, well, with no drama BS. Plus, he just built a shop up the road from Gene!
I was a little surprised to see BB evidently on board full-time on that show. He's worthy of his own gig (maybe that's a stepping stone, I hope). He'd be a great candidate for another no-drama build show like Ian's.
