A friend of mines brother bought one new, '68 or '69 with drag pack and a bunch more Dealer engine work..Kept it for a year and traded in on new Road Runner. My friends 66 F'lane was "updated" before hand..

 

Even got that left arm hanging out...

Well....I'd be a lot happier if the "getting screwed" part worked out a little better. Tried for a "nooner" and failed. Now, after cooking us a wonderful Christmas dinner, she's asleep on the couch...looks like my window of opportunity has closed...sigh

My son got me a 1/2 drive 20 volt DC Dewalt impact.

 

My sneaky wife used my alliance login and grabbed me a cool T shirt and number 26 shift knob , just too cool. I really didn’t think I had been that good this past year . Plus a swag of hot rod and in the shed magazines and a bottle of Bourbon , she is a keeper. Of course being down under we got our gifts around 20 hours before the USA cats did .

A good Xmas in my book.

 

Got up at 6:30, had a special coffee, enjoyed every second of it after lighting the wood stove and staring into the mesmerizing (big word) flames for an hour. Then the boss got up and the silence ended, the dogs (2), figured out santa came for them and selected which parcels were theirs, (cat too), drooled all over the place then enjoying their newfound bounty. The boss got me a dewalt drill, impact driver set with charger and three batteries, seeing as my old 18 volt was on its way out, then socks, slippers and suspenders. She got a new Ipad, some smelly diffuser stuff, and then I cooked up the best bacon, hashbrowns and eggs breakfast she could handle, (her favourite meal), cleaned the house while she worked on dinner for guests coming later. Fabulous day all around. Life is good.

 

I got radiator hoses for my flathead, a fuel pump, brake and fuel lines. All courtesy of me. Hanging out with all the family was the best part though.

 

Huh you mean it's been Christmas come and gone Guess I was on the naughty list this year I got NADA.

 

How did Santa know I needed a trans blanket for the lenco.

Gout. Arrived late Christmas Day / early Boxing Day. Lovely! Wouldn't mind if I'd been having an over indulgent time, but I hadn't!

Mrs Claus got me a NAPA peg board organizer thing and a steering box adapter.
Nothing this year from mother Claus but I did get a decent bonus so I'll get a tran mount for the hot rod

Santa (me) stopped by a buddies shop on Christmas Eve to pick up one 3 speed OD transmission for my kids pu project and ended up with 3 GM OD’s, 3 Ford T85’s, and a half dozen bellhousings. Not sure I need all of them but the price was right!

 

Now that a load of transmission and bells.

Better for you to get them ,,than the scrap yard.

Santa brought a page from the dictionary with the definition of "good" highlighted with one of those bright yellow markers.

 

I knew there was a reason Santa didn't leave me anything...

 

I now have socks without holes & a new hi-teck flashlight without the correct battery's, Brenda & I exchange small gifts, we concentrate on the girls and their family's. HRP

 

My fireplace smelled bad for some reason this morning.

 

Not so lucky on my end, the mall I work at will continue to play Christmas music till Dec 31st...someone pray for me....

 

I got a day of rest.

We got to break Dad outta rehab for a day. My son in-law helped get Dad's 46 up and running, been setting a few years. I think Dad enjoyed the ride. The old Ford was easier to get going than Dad is these days. I feel very blessed he could spend the day with us.
