I plan on going again. I like to do the drive in on Saturday. Fridays are good with fewer visitors.

 

Trying to figure out how to do both...5 hours between by car.

 

hit GNRS Friday and be at swap by 7 Saturday morning - up to you as to how hard you will be able to do a lot of walking at both - and a lot of driving - make a room reservation near Turlock now - if you change your mind can always cancel - Saturday is best for both

 

hope to meet you guys there, stop by the car for a bit!

 

Is the Motel 6 in Turlock safe? What's better?

What about where to stay in Pamona?

 

find a place in San Dimas, fairly close to Fairplex -

 

anybody else? coming to roadster show?

 

how about good places to eat in and around Pomona?

Pomona Valley Mining Company off 10/Dudley for a good steakhouse. Bracket airfield has Norm’s Hangar for breakfast.

 

Good places too around La Verne. Warehouse Pizza is excellent

I’m not a local, but have been a couple times. Friday is the best day, less people. Saturday morning Derelict Doughnuts has a good turn out, then back to GNRS to check out what you missed. Peterson museum on Sunday, noticed they’re having a car show in the parking lot in the morning. Lots of fun

Don't eat in Pomona. Get to Rte 66 into Rancho Cuacamonga to Vinces Spaghetti or the Sycamore Inn or Norms off of the I-10. Or In-N-Out Burgers or the Pomona Valley Mining Co. near the fairgrounds.
