Was this picture taken on a garage tour around Spencer Iowa a few years ago on a garage tour after Christmas time? There was a thread on the HAMB.

 

I'm not for sure.

 

I like the old AMT model style kustoms.

 

It has been on her before Kool enough for a repeat..

If I'm not mistaken, this chopped '65 Impala belonged to Alexander Ruelas of California Dukes Car Club fame.





This car was built during the time when lots of lowriders had custom touches like chopped tops, shaved door handles and trim, frenched antennas and so on.
I don't remember where I found this picture, but this has to be the same car under construction complete with primer spots and a little bare steel.
The pictures that @richards69impala posted show how nice the car turned out. Love this Impala! E

the recent fate of that 59 has not been the best. Neat car though, really liked the custom work when it was being shown at Sacramento the year we were there with Taboo

 

I'm pretty sure they are two different cars. Both were built about the same time but one was in California and I think the other one was from Illinois. E

 

I took a pic of this one at a KKOA show in Michigan. Which is close to Illinois.

that Corvair is interesting with a 67 Camaro RS nose. I dig it, but then as I own a O/T 68 RS Camaro, I have a soft spot for those hideaway headlights.
