I think this a wind machine for use for shooting movies, or maybe some farm use. Bob

The guy moved on, and became a Indy 500 flagman

 

Packard was doing R&D on the Liberty aircraft engine and used truck mounted engines to test performance. Maybe Hisso did the same thing.

I took these two photos at the garage of @spendingtheirinheritance in July of 2017 when he hosted Charlie Yapps Secrets of Speed annual event. I’d be interested to know where the image of the painting was found, and if prints are available.

 

My father's family moved from Upstate New York to Long Island in 1961.(they moved back in 1965)

My great uncle George's Oldsmobile in the driveway, and my grandparents 57 Chevrolet.
Great uncle George, great aunt Ruth (my grandmother's sister) and family come down for a visit.
