^^^Yours is 'way more proportioned (and 'finished'), Nads. The 'flow' is the thing...

  4. Been watching the build on Instagram... super neat! It has stirred an interest in T's again.

It’s a tiny engine that’s easily swamped visually. I shortened the frame horns after the firewall about four inches. The only thing I’m kind of not happy with is the width of the rear end. Unfortunately the 10 bolt has tapered axles and is difficult to narrow. I wish I had thought ahead, but it was $50 and I just bought it.

  6. Nads, My wife's Minor has a shortened 10bolt posi and Geoff Hauser got me a pair of Moser shafts made in the states. Including Geoff's small mark up, shipping, import and VAT they came to about £400.00.
    Charlie.
    P.S. Cool MK1 wagon.

Nice build and you got me for a while until I realized you weren't in Oz... A Zodi Farnham estate in the US, that keeps everyone confused I bet.

It's actually a Mk1 Consul estate. A 1956, the only LHD one know to exist. And yeah, hardly anyone knows what it is.

Right - they all look the same from the rear lol. That IS rare and there weren't many RHD ones to begin with:eek:

I like the way you mounted the master cylinder. Do you think a support near the center of the pushrod to keep it from flexing, in a panic stop situation? You think like me, figure it out instead of buying cookie cutter parts. Love the Edsel grill!!

Here’s the insert I made for the grille, tried it without the horseshoe at first, but I like it with better. 92BEBC1A-6E89-478A-A4E8-444A4A33FA9B.jpeg 7D25CC01-A665-4B09-BB86-1ADC54DA539B.jpeg DBD18A26-0D12-4166-9243-AFEB0C5588E2.jpeg 243BFAB0-67FD-4CDA-B4EC-87AD6BE5D9E6.jpeg

There is no way in heck that thing could pull it and the trailer. I have a ‘59 El Camino with a 400 small block that can. F5673580-391B-4553-9FDD-D0084D4CEAEE.jpeg

They are the perfect size, shape, and position for this little rod's nose. Anything else would look weird. Great job!

  26. Brilliant! There should be more 60's style rods built!

Everytime you post a pic there's another cool car/boat/whatever in the background. What a collection.
