**The photo and opening paragraph have been deleted.**

At the risk of ticking some people off I'm going to ask, or suggest, that we present
our works in the previously mentioned artful way. It took me all of three minutes
to crop and faux frame Tim's painting. And you don't even have to go through that
process, just pick an uncluttered background and shoot. It would sure put many
    pieces in a better view.

Last. I dig coming to Friday Art Show to see the work of many good artists (and
despite what someone might think, photography is art). I'm talking about the
talented H.A.M.B. members who display their work for us. Rehashed postcards,
greeting cards and illustrations from other sources just doesn't cut it. Can't we
keep this as a H.A.M.B. thing? It's much more interesting that way.

  17. Good morning, a great early start to the F.A.S. My wife loves the Hallmark Christmas movies. She asked me if I had a red pickup truck that she could use to decorate her foyer table. I said how many you want? lol. 20191212_155627.jpeg

    Hello,

Since, “the weather outside is frightful…” (but, the coast is still delightful...) This 1933 Ford chopped coupe would have given the big guy some protected, fun times, driving around the country side, going from house to house. It would be for special deliveries as there isn’t much room inside or in the trunk of most coupes. Unless of course, he pulls a trailer behind his entourage.

But, if the weather is not so frightful and he wants a sled type of roadster, then here is one dressed up in the holiday colors for the night time flight. Along with a “Secret Santa” complete and ready to go… a HEMI 671 GMC blower with injectors for the good guy/girl on the list. The other special packages are under the tarp and in the custom front area with removable side doors and hood.

Which one is best, the coupe or open roadster with a trailer for the Big, Old, Guy? Moon Discs for a smooth streamlined flight advantage… What else could the flight, past the big Moon be without Moon Discs? They are screw in Moon Discs, those funky snap on ones would fly off at those nighttime sky, ultrasonic, speeds.

  21. What he said!^^^^^^^^^ I always thought this was for artists to post their own work, not swipe a bunch of stuff from online and post it. And a few minutes to make a more artful presentation definitely makes a huge difference.

image.jpg image.jpeg Cool start, a sedan, Before & after. Mild chop, dropped I-beam, dropped headlights, louvered frame horn covers, wide whites, smooth radiator cap. What is under the hood ?

  24. Now that's a car that I can relate to;)...Brings back memories of the untold renderings I did of my 32 before I finally got to work.

Jesus now I have to have an “artful presentation”

I took the photos like I did because there’s a glaze on the entire piece and it’s very hard to not get a glare on the piece in the photo.

the piece is now framed and matted and looks much like the photo you posted.

I guess you can keep the “art show”
