Went to the junkyard looking for a 62 galaxie with a 292 and automatic trans but they were all 3 speed manuals.

across the street from an Estate Sale an old axle caught my eye - but, as I got a better view there was no way that I was getting any closer 20191207_110543.jpg

  9. I few years ago I bought a building that was the former office of The Ozark Acres Land company. Paid $841 for it and 4.7 acres. Still own it. It was packed full of papers. And much of it was in file cabinets. A couple are very heavy (fireproof) units. There are still several in the building. I did bring some home I should follow your example and use them for storage. I bet even the mud wasp couldn't get into them.

Monthly car guy breakfast yesterday (Saturday) morning. We had twelve this month which provided some great banter and conversation. I spent the rest of the day disassembling the nine inch in my 28' sedan for a freshen up and pumpkin swap. Finished up the day watching Ohio State/Wisconsin game . It was a good day.

  12. Over here those old steel cabinets are big money .( multi $ 100s ) The hipsters love them for in their industrial style livingrooms, kitchens, crappers, fashion shops or anybloodywhere they can put them.

Yesterday I volunteered my Saturday morning at the Salvation Army helping sort out packages for their Angel Tree program. The company i work for has a "give back to the community" program so there was 20 or more co workers there. Then I drove to Ft Worth and checked out the Hot Rod Trinity car show. Saw this car and fell in love with it. 20191207_135255.jpg

Finishing the walls of the garage with barn wood. Wife's idea. Actually looking good so far! But, thinking what I could be doing in the shop on a couple of hotrod projects. When momma's happy, everybody's happy. Just saying....

I picked up this card holder file cabinet a few years back, got lucky that the HF plastic bin organizers fit perfect.

Attended a car show at Southwest AirLines yesterday. Most all cars were non-Hamb friendly, but did do the walk through on the B-17 Sentimental Journal. Santa Claus arrived in the nose gunner seat.

I couldn't sit and watch the Patriots game so I went out and put in a few hours on the '51. I got the trans. cross-member and drive-shaft installed, starter, etc. All that's left under the car is hooking up and adjusting the shifter and the kick-down cable. Then I can get back to the floor/tunnel debacle.
