It will be stretched to get bigger to be proportional to the body.

Will the radiator cool that monster of a flathead? Just wondering but I'm sure you've got it covered. Can't wait for the next progress report. Keep them coming and THANKS!

I believe yes, my friend. The Seagrave V12 has the exhausting system running directly from the exhaust valves, right through the center valley. So it don’t have The gasses through the Block issue of the Ford Flatheads.
Because that, my engine, despite the size, is better to dissipate the heat, requiring less from the cooling system.
But my radiator is a Mercedes Bens brand new 5 rows extra heavy duty unit.

Such an inspirational project! My dad was a firefighter lost in the line of duty & this definitely reminds me of him whenever I check in. Amazing work on a truly one off hot rod!!

Today we positioned the steering wheel column. CD1B090B-BD75-4FC6-AF60-3DD27FF766CB.jpg 3E6081CC-8BD4-454F-9B1F-9F614AC53175.jpg IMG_2247.JPG ACBE2ACC-9728-4084-B8F1-C54DFB338271.jpg
We made holes in the chassis to fix the steering wheel box.

The firewall is under construction too.

We are making the superior supports to the 4 front friction dampers.

The radiator is in place, waiting for the shell

    Words escape me!
No they don't... LOL... I can't say enough about your project.

    Words didn't escape Dennis.
    Very nice poem.

D, it looks like you guys do a lot of other good work there, too.

I've been wanting to see somebody build a custom grill shell from scratch with that looks like something. Love it.

Everything about this car is so old world cool. I wanna sit in it. I wanna drive it. I wanna put it into a slide on a dirt track!
I can almost feel that beautiful steering wheel in my hands...

Looks like you're going to run the original exhaust system.
D... ya gotta build a custom exhaust! All those pipes coming out each side of the hood...
    Ya just GOTTA!
    LOL... you'll do what's best.
    Just saying.

    Thanks Ricky!
Yes, we are planning to use the original exhaust with the double pipes running by the right side of the car until the very end of it. With no silencers at all!!
And the oval dirty track is in our minds too!
    Best regards.

When I needed a new exhaust system on my '48 Seagrave (the muffler was rusted out), I built a dual system with straight pipes all the way back. I loved the sound and it wasn't so loud as to cause "problems". I think I used 2 1/4 pipe.

    Ola' Gui.
The hub caps are wonderful! I like the way the radiator grill and shell are forming. This is just a quick and dirty little sketch for a possible " LEVIATHAN " logo for the perforated metal screen in front of the radiator. What ever you fabricate will be interesting indeed!
    Perfection cannot be rushed !
    Dennis.

Steering wheel in its definitive place.
Now we’ll install the pedals and firewall.
