The rear wheel shift is a lot more radical than Landy's "post" car and Landy's car never had a 65 front clip like this one.This is actually the "Plain Busted" car that you posted a couple of photos of last September. My 56 Ford Altered wheelbase Victoria, originally built in California in 1968. 390 bored and stroked, Tri- powered, 4 speed with a gear vendor over-drive unit, 57 Pontiac rear-end with 456 gears.
It was sold to a fellow from the Pittsburgh area in 2018 who had it shipped from California. He passed away shortly after buying it. I bought it from his estate about a month ago. The car and workmanship is first class.

Holy smokes, I haven't looked at this thread in farrrrrr too long. These are the best thing I've seen all day. Any more info about these shots? Do they somehow tie back to Dover Dragstrip?
There were only a few 2 percent cars made. Maybe 3 or 4. More rare than the more radical cars that followed. They didn't run very long like that as things were constantly changing.
