How about a nice set of narrow black steelies with big and little bias ply Firestones.. Very traditional....

  11. My personal first choice would be the black wheels with baby moons and second choice would be the first pic with caps and beauty rings.

Either the first or second pics (gray or yellow) with no trim rings.
Please forego mags of any style. Your car has a classy look, the
steelies will enhance that look, but I agree with the no red / no wide
    whitewall look.

  16. I can't decide either so you'll have to get a set of each and change 'em in rotation about every month.

Black 1940 solids, or black 1935 wires with skinnier tyres, no whitewalls, and put the hood sides back on to cover the late model stuff and you will have a quite different car.......

  18. This is all personal of course, but I've never been real fond of Keystones. Can't really say why, just don't like 'em. I certainly don't like the Vintiques with the little ring around the hubcap (the cream colored ones with baby moons). I know they are a tad cheaper than the more traditional look like the ones in pic #1, but they limit the kind of caps you can use. Wheel Vintiques and others make a nice vented wheel with a nice domed center like '40 Ford wheels. Those are the most appealing to me. The wheels with "outie" nubs limit your choice of hubcaps to later stuff, but '57 Ford poverty caps work well with them. Before I get too long-winded, my choice would have to be pic #1, just would prefer a vented wheel instead of solids........Hope I didn't piss anyone off 'cause it's all about what you like, NOT what I like. By the way, if you own all of those tire/wheel combos you could have likely owned another car with what you spent!!!:D

I could live with any of them! Depends on the look that you want I guess. Pure hotrod, no hood with keystones or more vintage look with hood sides on or etc. You have several looks with little effort.

do like some have done in the past - put one style of wheels on one side of car and a different set on opposite side - that will get people scratching their heads - run a vote column at top of page and mark pics 1, 2, 3, etc
