back in the day..60s.. i had a 59 ford gasser but to big and heavy so i switched to a rail my gasser / altered street car is now is an austin healy with a big block chevy
I don't remember the owner of the green '56's name but I've seen him at the Meltdown a half-dozen times. I think he's a retired Chicago cop. Drives it like he stole it!
I can't spell his last name but yeah he's from Chicago/ Gary Indiana area. He's always at the NHRA hot rod reunion. 496/4 speed, blast to watch him run!
Since I have 2 years invested in it I would have to say my Morris Minor. If I didn't have it I would want a Willys coupe. My old Plymouth/ Willys .
Ohio George's " Worlds Wildest Willys" always rules! As well as Big Johns Willys, and Corvette and any SW&C's car except the last Willys that they sectioned the bottom off. But any body style done in pre 67 style is cool, even though I came of age in the street freak late 60's/ 70's and like those a lot they are not Gasser's ! And Jeff Jacobs SkairLane is the best modern day version of a gasser out there!!! Larry
You can build a lot of cars in many different ways, but i honestly believe that any car with a straight axle is sexy! Seems like every car i look at, i imagine what it would look like as a gasser
