I've owned a 3 window, 5-windows, 4 door sedans, a roadster, a pickup and 2 couple of tudor's.

I still have the first 2 door I bought 31 years ago so I guess it would be my favorite. HRP

 

I like the 3 window I have stashed in my shed for the
for the last 15 years! It was a 2 year quest to "rescue"
it from its former 30 year slumber deep in the Honey Island Swamp area of Eastern Louisiana. I would have preferred a five window. I am good with it anyway. It is
the only one I have ever had a shot at affording. At least it is out of the weather now. Also I was able to acquire many parts and pieces from several different
bodies over the years and all over the country. Also
a nice genie chassis with clear titles from Florida. Expensive, but worth the trip and money to make it
titled in my name.

I think I lean toward 5 windows, but knowing that a Vicky could be built into this... I am a convert.

They all have their charm, but I'd have a hard time choosing between a Vicky and a 5 window.

 

I have a pickup. It has servered me well for more than 10 years. In 1976, I remember a full fendered 3 window in candy apply red came into the NSRA nats in Tulsa. It was very striking. I have seen 2 door sedans that I fell for. The 5 window is one of the most useful. I'm old and making decisions isn't as easy as it was. I quit!

I have never been a 32 fan. I prefer the model A.

 

I have never owned one , so I would be happy with any one, but more happy with a 3 window

My fav is the only one I've ever owned. The Pile-o-Parts sedan.
But if I could trade my 33 5W PROJECT for a comparable 32 5W, I could be unfaithful.

 

That's actually a pretty cool video. I'm not a fan of the Boydster, but it's still a cool video.

 

The best 32 style was about 2 years later when Ford finally got it perfected.

 

Between me and my dad I have owned or drove most of these 32s as for which is best 5window as for the funniest roadster

It was 4 years after the grand opening of the local So Cal icon, Lions Dragstrip in the West Long Beach/Wilmington area. But, the ground was set for all forms of competition. The abundance of cars was amazing for a teenager to check out and drool.

In looking for some altered competition in my early Lions Dragstrip films, I now have a “slow motion frame by frame” program that allows me to check out what I normally could not see in the speed that I recorded the original, drag racing action. Sure, any program will allow you to stop and back up a frame or two in chunks, but it is handy to be able to click on each frame for clarity.

At one time, my brother and I liked this Altered Coupe and wished it were a street legal car for our next hot rod build. Fenders or fender less, the 32 Ford had its day and the popularity was evident. It would have looked very good alongside our friend’s black 5 window 34 Ford coupe with the big Olds motor. That 34 was very inspiring and fast, but we wanted something different. One thing that held us back was the cost. For some reason, the 1932 Ford choices were always more expensive than any other year or model. So, we went a different way with our 1940 Willys Coupe build.

Many years later, my wife and I were also in the market for a new project and of course, we wanted something no one else had in our area. So, a 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery was chosen, but for our low income, “20 something” budget, they (1932 models) were way out of our league. Then, the next was a 32 Woody Wagon.

They were the epitome of woody wagons in our coastal area, as no one had a 32 wagon set up for daily usage and reliability with an SBC motor/modern trans. But at the time, they were even harder to find than the sedan delivery models. The one we did find was much higher in cost than the sedan delivery, so we realized we were barking up the wrong tree.

The popularity of the 1932 models was a little outrageous, for us. So, the search was on for some other models, years and formats that would fit into our wandering, “20 something” lives. “BEST is in the eye of the beholder…”

1) Five window
2) Victoria
3) Sport Coupe.
