Art & Inspiration Halloween is around the corner, do you use your hot rod or custom as a prop?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Oct 29, 2019.

  1. I love the costume, and old friend of mine went to a costume party with his wife with a potato tide to a string tied to the front of his pants he said he was a "Dick Tater" , he was in his 70s. :D

  2. Did the wife have a lemon tied around her waist? she could have p0rtrayed a sour puss! HRP

A number of years ago, this was a session for photographs for a local car calendar, I thought since today is Halloween, that its appropriate. Happy Halloween to everybody!

My Aussie friend who lives now in Texas said:
" I find that answering the door naked helps deter trick or treaters. Oh,here we go again, here are two dressed as

I got this thing running/ driving so I could dress up as a farmer this year. At the Union Station last weekend for a trunk or treat and today I parked it inside the shop at work.

  15. Usually just this. I forgot this year though. Nobody will ever guess where the inspiration came from (sarcasm). KIMG0361.jpg

I wish I had a nickel for every old racing story that has been told in that old building.

Just carved a few pumpkins. There are not many children in our neighborhood but they come in droves from other areas. Guessing maybe 450-500 kids! Wife bought bags with total of 1500 pieces--60 left. All sizes of kids but really like the little ones. Crazy!

Had zero trick or treaters last night. Temperatures in the high twenties probably had a lot to do with it.

We gave it our best shot at my friends new digs in town. We were a couple blocks off the intense trick-or-treating area , only got 25 or so. DDEA0FB0-E75C-4DF5-855B-2B9C1FAC57A6.jpeg

I've been there and it has a ton of charm and a lot of local history when it come to building race cars.

And the municipality has been trying to make him tear it down, they event went so far as giving him a date the building had to be removed, he is a fighter. HRP

I hope he can fight the good fight and keep it! Too many neat old buildings are being torn down. There's an old service station at the end of our road that might be demolished to make way for the county to put in a 'roundabout'.

I have a weird interest in old buildings. Lol This one isn't that old, my parents built it on our property back in the early '80s. The lumber was from some other old buildings that were falling down.

Danny, I went to my loan institution on Oct 31, and there sat my loan officer! He had a huge white cowboy hat on! And a six gun, and silver bullets.... and a black mask over his eyes! I asked “ what up”? He said it’s Halloween...... and I’m .......... THE ,,,,,, loan a Ranger !!
