Maybe it's because I happen to own one. Maybe it's because you see far fewer of them at shows and local cruises. But give me a big old 4 door cruiser any day! I think they're perfectly suited for the "mild custom" look. There's just something about the 40 and early 50's long car that is very cool. This may be the shortest lived discussion in the history of the H.A.M.B., but here goes...time to show off your four door! Or pictures you have of 4 doors, or stories about 4 doors. If it has 4 doors, let's have it.
    Here's mine

We didn't get any two doors in down under Australia, well very few anyway. So this is why I had to use what was available. :)

My first car!!! My dad had a 53 Coronet with a 241 and gyromatic transmission from about 1958 till he gave it to me in 1972 to drive around the farm. Unfortunately it was vandalized in about 1987 while in storage and subsequently parted out. My understanding was it was one of 2 in Alberta. It was my dads favourite car until he got his 60 Pontiac Parisienne 2 door hardtop.

My grandparents had a '54 Dodge Coronet 4 door like the one pictured. I'd love to find another one.

And my favorite car when I was growing up was a yellow and white '58 Ford Country Sedan like the one pictured. Our family took some fun vacations in it. A fellow HAMBer has one that he would sell; just gotta get the green together. 1958 ford country sedan.jpg
