Hot Rods Identify this car and its owner

I have seen a few pictures of this car floating. It's a model a with a 337 cubic inch flathead v8. Wondering if anyone knows the car or its owner. I would like to talk to him.

 

I found a pic of it here and it mentions Hotrod Hayride...no names but that's perhaps a clue to locale...

If the hotrod hayride has been mentioned that points to a UK event that used to take place.....I'm pretty sure the club who started the hayride were the executioners.......they then left it as it was getting too commercial.
I'm sure someone from UK will correct me if I'm wrong

 

I suspect that fella at the site I posted took that pic however it's vague on details and he is world travelled in his craft...

 

I checked reg number it's a UK car

 

Did you notice that the Dist. is right against the Firewall?

 

That's the easiest way to tell it's a 337. Rear distributor.

 

And one heavy sumbich

 

I believe that if done correctly, pulling lots of the heavy truck parts, lightening the flywheel and crank, the displacement benefit could out weigh the weight problem. You could make this motor nearly 400 cubes if you like.
