Just a few update pics. We have been busy, I just haven’t had time to post pics.

 

Wiring is ongoing. Fat Mat is down, just need to get everything wired up, the the interior goes back in. Bed is back together.

I was wondering if he would add any bling to the engine. Gotta impress the friends right.

 

He's a hood down kinda kid. He's adding a Caddy air cleaner with striping. That's about it.

 

I painted this T-shirt for a buddy,that has one he likes. Trucks are cool.

 

Love the color combo.

 

Those hubcaps seem strangely familiar.

 

He learned how to peck out dents in stainless and how to buff them back. Came out pretty good, huh?

Thanks guys, it’s far from perfect, but he can take it up a notch when gets older. High school parking lots are not very forgiving.

Pushed the Okie Apache outside for a few photos. Still have a few things to finish up. He wanted to post some update pics. I like the way it sits. No blocks or bags.

Idea... put some cut up bicycle inner tubes on the tailgate chains to stop scratching the nice paint job.

He's already starting to send me CL ads for old cars...He's got the sickness.

 

Your local bike shop will usually have "roadie" inner tubes in their trash they'll give you if you ask nicely. It's what I use because they fit tightly, look better than the larger ones from mountain bikes. The UV eats them up so plan to replace often but they fit tight and work great.
