I agree that’s so good to hear that they want to carry the torch. I’m gonna keep my around all this stuff and maybe it will get in her blood like it did me at such a young age in my grandmothers 1956 ford fair lane. That 292 and hurst 3 speed floor shift got me hooked for the rest of my life.

I've got that same parts hauler; except that mine's all blue with no white and yours has a LOT less rust than mine. Runs like a new one though. Tough as nails and I believe I could pull stumps with it.

Anyway; back to the Model A...

Yeah you should see the stack of receipts for this thing. Including a machine shop receipt for the FE being rebuilt back in 05. Super solid old truck but yes back to the A.. :)

7F12D0E7-28B0-43E0-B9EA-C398F9B5CE9C.jpeg Well I pulled the A outside with the new starter on and got the garage sorta cleaned up so I can start fiddling with these pesky brakes. Thank goodness I’m getting a little garage time in. I’ll just keep chipping away on her. Figured you might wanna see it outside in all her glory. Seems like I’m not gettin much done these days

Just keep at it you’ll get there.

Figure one more adapter for the front, and a pulled to get the backs swapped and you’ll be a lot closer.

Fire that Flathead up and let the neighbors hear it cackle!

Well fellas the time of me building hotrods in a tiny one car garage in the city has ran its course. Recently found a home out in the country with a 40x60 garage with an asphalt floor and Electricity. So safe to say I’m gonna be a LOT more motivated to work on the old heap. Haha I did get the starter in been kinda preparing the jalopy for her voyage north

    Sweet!
Your new shop is going to seem huge....for about 6 months. Before you know it every square inch will be filled with more stuff and you'll be back to basically working in the same small space. o_O

Hell yeah man, I just got a 10x20 shed with two side lofts so I can store my lawn mower and atv and all the other small none tool stuff to hand more room in my two car garage/shop

Well fellas it’s been a minute but the Model A made it’s way into the shop at the new house. And the previous owner failed to clean all the clutter out so please excuse it in the back ground I’m slowly carving a path and space each day, anyhow the A bone is due for a little off the top. I got some of the bracing welded in this evening after work. Got some old post out of the scrap bin and seem to really do the trick. But I took some photos for y’all to see a little of what I’m doing. Should have the top off and back on this weekend . I’ll keep everyone posted as always. Feel free to chime in with any advice on giving this old Fords haircuts IMG_6682.JPG IMG_6688.JPG IMG_6690.JPG IMG_6695.JPG
