Made it to Trog 2016. You'll notice a lack of pictures of the car racing again this year..Unfortunately,once again the power of the blown flattie took its toll on the clutch! I made one pass and barely made it back. This time the clutch disc basically came apart and decided to destroy the flywheel..The debris on the floor is clutch material..Oh well, thats racing! The coupe will now get more work to make it streetable and I'll return to TROG 2017 with a new race car..A roadster! pics 013.JPG pics 014.JPG

  16. I still go back and read this thread as well as Andys build. I bow down to the talent it takes to do this. The most beautiful cars ever. (And that aint the coffee talking).
    Only question is whats next?

Thanks for the compliment Harley Jim. I have been collecting parts for 34 5 window coupe build. It’s going to be more 60’s styles; channeled, early Oldsmobile powered, chrome reverse wheels etc. of course it won’t be as intense as this build was but it will still be challenging.

  18. Been looking for the thread from blind owl. Cant seem to find it. Anyone have a link. Thanks

I've been out of the scene for the last 7 or 8 years. Ran across this thread looking for inspiration on my '34 5W. 25 pages later.... What can I say? I'm a few years late, but great job!

Thanks for the kind words. It was quite a journey but so worth it! Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Working on a coupe now. It will be getting the chop too!

My 33 ford coupe from a sedan made a 2 page spread in the Trog anniversary book..Unfortunately, they credited the car to my buddy Justin Altman! Oh well, ya win some you lose some! 334026214_907175383767079_966287230487923615_n.jpg 333846034_660387972559746_4251121640840129610_n.jpg
