Couldn't watch it all the way through. Back in my time, he would've copped an ass-whoopin. You can't do that nowadays or you'll get sued and go to jail. It kept everyone honest, civil, and respectful. These days? Assholes are a protected species. Ain't the new zeitgeist awesome?

yep, amazing what people will do to other's prized property - The Auto Show was there to entice buyers of new cars - but, there was plenty of stuff in line with the H.A.M.B.

I got to imagine that he's a real treat to work with to, and this probably wasn't the first incident.

Cardenas playfully tells viewers "the only person out here is a media coordinator, [the event] doesn't start until later in the day… no one is out here to tell me which car I can't go in, cause some of these are off-limits, so I'm just gonna live on the wild side."

The door ding is bad but what made me cringe was when he put the soles of his shoes up on that yellow Thunderbird.

It really just comes down to a lack of respect for other people and their possessions. He all but acknowledged that if the owners were present that they would not allow that kind of behavior, but in their absence he took it upon himself to act without regard for them of their property. It has been said that the definition of "integrity" is doing the right thing when nobody is watching. Well, in this instance, this person failed that test mightily, and while the owners of the cars may not have been watching, a live TV audience was. He deserved to get fired and I hope any damage gets taken care of without any cost to the car owners.

 

As my late great friend Woodrow would say.....That boy needs his head n ass slapped together.
I can pretty much assure you, if he'd have done that to the bikes, he'd be getting just that....and more.

 

if any of those cars were mine, him getting fired would be the least of his problems. I ain't politically correct.

When I was still commuting all over the Bay Area, I would listen to the local CBS station just because they had very good traffic reports every 10 minutes, and I could change directions if necessary. Bad point was having to listen to the nonstop barrage of partisan political BS the other 9 minutes

Well that sure makes it all better. When I had a '62 vette, the wife and her friend went to the Cliff House in San Francisco for a pop. When they left and got back to the car, there was a tourist lying on the fender getting her picture taken.

 

And you wonder why I have no respect for the general public and car shows/ exhibitions in particular ...

 

It is one of those times when you know somebody for fifty bucks will gladly take care of a payback.......hell he'd do it for nothing.

Why I quit taking my 32 PU to shows long ago.Folks just cant keep their hands to themselves.

 

When I owned my o/t vw I put gas one day and went to pay and come out and there’s this huge fat ass of a man wedged in my seat!!
I walk up and ask just what In Gods name is he doing?!?
He slumps our and giggles hehe just wanted to see if I fit!!
Two swift punches one to his face and one to his gut , he folded like a lawn chair clutching his nose!
Looked at me and said what the hell !!
I looked at him and giggled hehe always wanted to know what it would be like punching a fat fuck out!

there is little to no respect anymore,and I blame society, ya gotta get hit by your parents and the crap beat outta you at least once to understand nothing is free and everything is earned.

my grandfather told me when I was young, kid money is power, but power is always power. Never be scared of anyone and show your power.
