Coincidence LB. I just saw you posted the Night Stalker too. Great 55 Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Why not go to the rule book to determine what a "real" traditional gasser is? If that's the direction we're gonna go, a lot of the stuff pictured in here wouldn't have been legal in 1965. Still cool cars. http://nostalgiagassers.com/nhra-rules-gas-coupessedans-g-1965/ But if you don't care and just want to build what you want to build with inspiration taken from wherever you please, by all means. I swear to Christ it's like the Nazis won the war around here sometimes.
Good Idea start your own thread just for your "idea" of what real ones are. BTW most of the cars posted in here would MEET those rules except a few are too high.
I'm not that guy to tell anyone what is real or what isn't, especially not when rulebooks exist. Take it for what it's worth. Problem is you can't tell anyone anything once they've convinced themselves they're right. "Oh it's not a gasser without a sky high straight axle and the inner fenders cut out." That may be someone's interpretation, but it doesn't make it correct. In a lot of cases, modern interpretations of gassers look way cooler than some of the originals. I dig those cars too!! Hence the second part of my post.
With what looks like a 2 port Hilborn injectors on probably a 471 blower! I love this car for all that it is! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Kindly save your bitching, I'm not interested. This is a pretty good looking car if you don't pay attention to the goofy wide whites and drag radials. There's nothing criminal, or ignorant, about posting a reasonable facsimile. To those who simply dig looking at good pics of kool cars, thanks for stopping by.
Anyone know what happened to this one, or where it's at? It needs to be back at home on the track making passes. Sent from my SM-G955U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Therein lies the biggest point in our contentions, at least most of us.................................. We are not the masses!!!
