Billups was purchased by Signal Oil after they sold off their chain of Signal Gas Stations. For several years Signal Gas and Oil was not operating Signal Gas Stations until names were finally changed on stations by purchaser.
Signal bought and operated Regal, Hancock, Billups and SOC. But due to earlier sale could not rename as Signal.

Good eye I missed that flag.

 

Yeah that's Malmö in Sweden. Think this is the same place today.

 

Forks, Wa. The older image is from the 30's and the second is of the same location in 1956.

 

That Pomona location sure looks familiar... East End right?

 

Yup in a really kool yard, it’s all themed out and the guy has an eclectic collection of automobilia.
