I know I’m jumping around quite a bit. Started on a budget tonneau cover this morning made from some remnant painters tarps I found in my tool shed.
jumping around can be good, keeps the job interesting and you can be working on 2 or more jobs at a time improving things as you go
Yes. It's like that..I also learning when i posting. Feedback is a part of this forums. it's not only pisctures.
I took notes on the e brake tube situation if anyone needs them in the future. It'll probably be in the test. Awesome build so far Sent from my rotary phone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Where did you get the air cleaners?[/QUOTE] Grace and Company. Makes his own parts. He’s on Instagram @graceandcoparts
Found an odd piece of steel channel in my garage so I tried to use it for the master cylinder bracket.
Love the tonneau cover and your approach to the whole car. It’s awesome to see the Lincoln steering wheel in a great home...
Mock up. Going to retrofit these old seat springs I bought from a friend last year. Not sure what car they were pulled from, but they look close enough to work with.
Double check your emergency brake handle will have enough pull distance to engage the brake. Mine didn't. I made a bellcrank that magnified the pull. Basically an arm pivoting off the right side of the frame, the handle's rod connecting towards the middle, and the brake cable connecting on the end under the torquetube. I don't think I doubled the pull distance, but maybe a third or half more.
Easy-----Shorter louvers & not as many. Due to over heating, Henry had more louvers made in the following models plus more stamped in. That seemed to correct the problem. Also a Model B light bar had a solid stainless wrap from light to light---No hole for the V8 emblem.---Don
That's all good, but that doesn't make it a "B" hood. It just means it was made before October 1932. All the V8's had this same hood as well up until October. A headlight bar can be distinguished as for a B or a V8, but the 20 louver hoods can't.
I thought I found and patched all the pinholes but it looks like I still had a leak on this corner. Jacked the car on one side to shift the gasoline inside far enough for me to perform more JB Weld emergency surgery last night.
