Friday , I picked up a Chevrolet 250 6 , 80,000 original miles, with an attached power glide, engine has new water pump, new exhaust manifold and new starter. Came with two Clifford aluminum 4 barrel intakes , one carb heat set up the other no heat provision, a set of long tube headers and a Saginaw 4 speed trans with bellhousing with fork , clutch , flywheel and pressure plate . All in all a good day. :)

It really doesn't do much. But if building a "Hot Rod" 32 Truck fit's this thread I'm in the process of buying F1 shock mounts from the HAMB classifieds. Checks in the mail.

Found the the last two mid-sixties 15" Ford centers I need to make a set of 5. Will be installing 7" hoops on them to replace the 5 inchers on them now, might even put some 8's on the rear.

Bought Eelco manifold & Carter carbs fairly cheap at a non-automotive flea market a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, as I don't have a flathead - maybe I'll have to get one !

Haha. I thought they would fit my 53 ford Tudor but it turns out I have 15” wheels. Like a dope I didn’t measure them. Haha

I'm suspicious of threads like these. Always wonder if the wife has discovered my hideout here and is cyber trapping me into admittance of unauthorized parts acquirement.. :)
But, I ordered floor pans for the '52 Chevy pickup less than 24 hours ago... One part closer....

    LOL.
Yeah...we've done that. She responds-"My shoes didn't cost $1200". I really can't complain, my wife works everyday and is truly my best friend and partner who usually doesn't squall (much) about my antique car addiction.
I still have made friends with my UPS driver and he has a key to the shop she never steps into. :). Just in case.

Found WWII Oxygen tank being sold as a buoy at local antique store. $40! And my wife pointed it out so it’s all good!
