Mickey do you know what those tail lights are? They look like Hudson special ones turned sideways.
They have the extra piece on the top(now on the side on this one )

If you park in the right spot you don't need air bags. Kustoms love to park on grass.

Charlie Lopez' Merc, from the rear. (Bet you weren't ready for that1)

(Below) Given the setting, I'm betting that the '56 Chevy is an early version Ismael Roble's 'Tower of Power".

MO, those pics were taken in Davenport Iowa (KKOA show) in about 89. The car was from South Dakota or maybe North Dakota. It didn`t move all weekend. You can see my Dad`s Vicky sitting next to it. And staple holes in the pictures, a trade mark from all the pictures from my garage wall. Was gonna post them but couldn`t find them. Is the 56 Chevy topless now.

Just found another pic of the frontal shot of the car at the same show, EEERRRR, dang scanner isn`t working. How did it end up in the Dakotas. Might of been forsale at that event as well. Charlie`s version was on the cover of Street Rodder as well.

'Tower of Power" lost its roof around 1985. Early on, it was green and gold (before the gull-wings.)
If my facts are correct, Charlie Gomez and Ismael Robles were members of Classics CC, and often displayed together.
(Lopez had a hand with both builds.) I believe that both cars may now be owned by Conrad Garcia.

Two lowriders that made an impact of the most influential top 10 of all time. Long with the Gypsy Rose and the Cheech and Chongs Chevy. Time to start a new thread.
