Again...not gassers...just bad ass street cars that look like drag cars that can probably get with the program...well I know the white one can...mid 9’s...

 

Is that in the 1/8th? I wouldn't want to run mid-9's with just a lap belt and at least a 6 point roll bar.

 

Well that’s what the internet said...haha it does have a big FE motor in it...and yeah I guess looking at it I believe you need a roll bar to run those times..

Actually if it really does run in the 9's it has to have a full cage and a window net to run at a NHRA strip.

I bought the Hubert Book...very cool dude. There’s an interview on YouTube with him...he was a trip

 

I am lucky enough to have known him personally and you are right in that he was a bunch of fun to be around. While the team that I worked for in the late 80's was based in Norcross, GA for a while he gave me his C 10 pick up to get around in--On the lower right corner of the tailgate it was lettered "Georgia Shaker".
