    Really Cool seeing the Englishtown Tower again.
    From what the guy's tell me Englishtown will never see drag racing again but the karting track is still in operation along with the car shows and stuff like that.

    I've probably posted this before but, that pairing (Paul Dilcher, '55 Bel Air vs. Val Hedworth, '56 150 station wagon) was the last national event pairing in Stock Eliminator before the "Purge of '72." That race was the SuperNationals held at the now defunct Ontario Motor Speedway in late 1971.

    Thanks for the pics Biscaynes! Those “as found years later” pics always make me cringe. Looks like the pic was taken while the trailer was moving so hopefully someone is going to preserve it! Regards, Randy

    Jim,
    This from my Nov '60 Hot Rod. These are all the winners they posted. Only 3 from the /SP class. Those /SP cars weren't in the Little Eliminator. They were in the Street Eliminator.
