I am looking for input on glass for my '34 project.
I used Chris Blattie and Bob's Classic Glass in the past and both are now unstisfactory.
Any suggestions for quality work are appreciated.
    Thank you.

And, if you don't have a pattern yet, make sure to use Masonite instead of cardboard.

X2 on a local glass house. But if you don't have one I used this guy for the windshield and side windows on my '39 p/u. Totally satisfied with his work and price and he does ship.

Yeah they do. I bought locally for my T coupe. Windshield, 2 door windows, 2 quarter windows, and rear glass. Windshield installed in frame. Door riser channels installed on door windows. $180.00 Can't beat that.

If you're not satisfied with the work of a few shops, maybe it's time to learn how to do it yourself, and get the necessary equipment. Should be a fun learning experience.

I use Bobs Classic Auto Glass and will buy from him again and again. Always been great.

  13. Don't know where you are, but DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, use Vintage Glass, Lawrenceville, GA! Slow, cut wrong, forever to re-do, lots of hollow promises, still didn't fit!

I learned the following from having to go it alone and bad experience from Vintage Glass.
    Maybe you can benefit.

Install the vertical felts temporarily, and cut a Masonite or Luan pattern that you can raise and lower by hand. Trim or sand edges for a perfect fit. One side CAN vary from the other.
Find a local or nearby glass shop who does flat, laminated plate. It can be edge sanded for a perfect fit. If you or the glass guy insists on tempered, make sure it matches your pattern dead nuts. It can't be edge sanded.

Jim's Glass in Livermore has done most of my glass pieces I needed.
