I love the good old days, not a tat, cell phone or video game in sight. I almost have to have an appointment to talk to my kids or grandkids these days:(

Another response from someone with no knowledge of Corvettes. Shatner's'63 is a Fuel Injected car, No automatic trans available with solid lifter engines. Luggage rack option is for people who actually have wives and girlfriends and plan to take trips with them. To those of you who don't like them, don't buy your next '63 Corvette with one. Enough about this!

Understood. What many people don't realize, Corvettes' where bought by the sports car crowd. They love those type of accessories.

Relax Jimmy B, just joking around. In fact I have owned 3 Corvettes and the current one does have a luggage rack, a trailer hitch, and a automatic trans. but it does not belong on this site for it is a American sport car (well more of less). i will let you off on this one, Jimmy B, but don't let it happen again, just joking, I have to get back to work.

Never seen those type wheel covers, were they a genuine Jeep accessory?

I remember a guy in late 60’s that drove his ‘67 Vette (427) to drag strip with his rear slicks strapped on similar luggage rack

Yes it is, kinda looks like it might be Elmwood Park in Norton Ks. but I'm not sure.

This photo is so cool in so many ways! It inspires you to "guess" just what they are anticipating and although shows such simplicity and lack of material value, it does display happiness, family and friends, and simple joy! A sure favorite to me!
