A habu (pronounced "hah-BOO") is a venomous snake found in southeast Asia (Japan, Phillipines, Taiwan, southeast China) for some reason the name was applied to the SR-71 Blackbird in Okinawa.
Thanks buddy. Ya know, he really loved this country and life. He was simple. When I was younger I would be embarrassed that he would come out to all my friends and show a motorcycle license that had long expired. Seemed I had no patience. Now at 58, I wish I could only rewind the clock. He was a true American Hero, Father, and man. I will say this to all who’s Fathers are still here, cherish every day. He would love to see the Hot rods I have had, and the children I have raised. Afterv WW2many men had issues in life. My dad like many chose to ride and joined a small outfit. Like many of their Veterans and Leathernecks they formed a bond. He was a true Badasss. I just wish I knew it when I thought I knew everything... A true prize well deserved after a Shitstorm. Bought this brand new...
My Dad was an Army Air Force WWII vet but never said much about it. We lost him to cancer in 1988 and I think of him every day and wish I had asked him more about his service time. When I went in the Army in 71 he told me not to let the son-of-a- bitches get the bluff on me. Good advise I found out pretty fast!
