I think that looks like mechanic Jack Beckley in the cockpit. Seems like Cal Niday and Hal Robson drove this car at various times.

The driver is Frank Luptow.

 

Found this picture in a book of Henry Ford which looks to be a funeral but don't remember what or when it was.

 

Pretty sure this photo was taken Edsel Ford's funeral in 1943.

I bet that "car turnstile" for the donut shop wasn't cheap or a quick way to move the cars through the drive up!
