Old Cars Photographed With Old Cameras

    I collect old cameras and end up photographing a lot of vintage cars at car shows, etc..
    Thought that this would be a good forum to post some of them.

    I inherited a Kodak model "B" like this one. Nothing too fancy but learned to take pictures with it. It isn't adjustable so never figured out how to take advantage of it, but the lens has an excellent polarizing effect at sun certain angles. The lens itself is also slightly hot, easily as much as the check source on a geiger counter. Some sort of coating, bet they don't do that anymore.

    Nice work. there is just something about film photos even when converted to digital that makes the photo stand out.

    It looks to me the depth of field is different. Has a softer look. Digital cameras are outstanding though, no doubt about it.

    What a great topic for a HAMB thread. We saw this Rolls Royce last year at Pebble Beach, it was the featured car on the program and poster. Bob

    I think the beauty of film is it's timeless quality. I never could get results that I liked as much from any digital camera.

    It's a beautiful car and not a garage queen. The owner drives it all over the country!
