I believe that is the Trotter's dragster from Ohio.

 

The driver appears to be Jack Chrisman

 

It looks like the corner of Main Street, and Asylum Street

 

Shirley Shahan.

 

I think that I was incorrect, it is the corner of Main Street, and Capitol Avenue.

 

The chopped station wagon appears to be the one owned by John B. Good from Pennsylvania.

 

The Howard Cam Special, Twin Bear.

 

No, it is a Ford.

 

It appears to be the launching area. I was stationed in the radar control area.

 

Puzzled, here. The one that they’re dropping the body on doesn’t have a steering column in place, that I can make out. The next one up, with the V8, has one laying across the back of the engine. I wonder when the column got installed. There couldn’t have been enough time between when they drop a body in place and when they had to handle the next one, could there?

General Electric, locomotive wiring harness manufacturing ~

 

A lot different from the way they did it at the Olds Pontiac plant I worked at in the sixties. The fenders mounted along with the hood had to be a paint to work around, also, putting the wheels/tires on had to be harder too.

 

A short time later "Daddy took the T-Bird away."

 

Had to look at that first one a couple of times before I realised what was going on. Phew.
