How do you like my shop? Well, actually it's the local jr. college where I take auto body, my heap is almost ready for paint. I have the usual cramped, cluttered, messy two car garage. Tired of sanding, and the photos I saw today of the new mid engine Vette have me wondering; am I going to continue to spend my golden years driving my old stuff around without ever experiencing what must be a pretty exiting ride?

Was a street car when I bought it in 88/89, sbc, ladder bars, coilovers, narrowed 12 bolt. I build new race 468 bbc, p.glide, bent a mild steel cage & round tube back 1/2 & 4 link, never put the engine, or 4 link in the car...Did get remarried, moved, remodeled my house, built a new 36x64 garage, retired, helped my son (hamb name; crazy legs) build some bikes & cars... When I go back to working on the 59 Corvette it will be LS powered, c. moly cage & 4 link. Too many projects, trying to thin the herd, selling my 40 Mercury & probably 40 Ford sedan delivery. Currently building a 59 ElCamino LS powered,4l80e, 9", air ride, notched frame etc.

top bars are straight, race 4 link, if you thin the herd of the corvette I would be interested, let me look for pictures, I know I have them somewhere, you have some nice rides there.

Thanks for the reply. I would like to see pics on the top bars. They usually have to be shorter than the bottom because the seat is sooo close to the rearend. Able to tell any e.t.s on your car?...Highly doubt if I ever sell that car, my son wants it. Love your car! Really gets me interested in mine again....but having fun working on my El Camino for now.

Pictures are posted above your post, runs lows 9s anywhere from 145 to 150mph, I understand about not selling just had to ask, my interior is all stock with factory seats and mounts, will get some measurements for upper and lower bar.

With that hair and pants I'd say '74-'78. Especially with the side pipe headers.

Yes I use his manual frontend rack with A-Arms, have worked great, frees up a lot of room.
