  1. The weird part is I have a 50 Merc in the garage. He doesn’t want that.
I just sold a SWB ford unicab F100 that he didn’t care for either.
Something about this one he likes. Spent the last 3 evenings working on it
    Who knows
I’m ok with it cause a flatbed would be handy around the shop.

  12. This was just a shop/push truck. Probably wasn't worth much but I liked it.

Any plans to shorten to pickup size or just fix a flat and leave it as is??
Had a well known local body man near me that had one of these fixed up as a shop truck a few years ago and he did drive it daily.....it was shorter wheel base, with a more modern steel flat and chrome simulators on the wheels, chrome stacks etc but pretty nice.

  16. Gonna let the kid decide
Just located a motorhome that may donate an updated rear and brakes
He likes the flat bed. And I support that. We could use one around here

  17. If he wanted to get crazy with it I have a c60 front clip. That would drop the truck 7-8 inches without touching the suspension.
    And an extra 472 caddy
    Like this but with 19.5s

Thank you! I came across a really nice big back window cab last weekend and a big back window parts cab... So I guess it'll have a big back window now!

I have always liked the Econoline pick ups, not the best for towing a loaded car trailer , I suppose ? A nice frame from front to back would be the ticket .

  26. ...I just got another truck on the road, a 55 Chevy, runnin a 292 " Chevy six,...
