Thanks Paul, if you meant mine. I did her the way I remember them terrorizing the streets back then.

PICT0649.JPG PICT0798.JPG My first car, I was in the Air Force, stationed at Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. Pic in the snow was taken, Dec 1969, a week before I went to Vietnam. Second was taken the day I came home from Vietnam. My dad redid her while I was gone. We commuicated with a 3" real to real- tape recorder. All the chrome was redone, wheels, headers, new hood, GTO bucket seats, exhaust, and the list went on. I realized this kept me from going crazy!! Miss that man!!

  15. The wagon on a 4 wheel drive frame isn't a 60,s design. 4 wheel drive vehicles where pretty rare in the 60,s . old army jeeps a few international scouts and some Neapco converted trucks where about it..

  16. Yep that's what we did jack them up in the rear and stuff big white letter tires on them. Today it just looks stupid to me.

Went to a little swap meet and Drag race today. I didn’t find any treasures as turnout was slim. I did see this 5E8E63B9-8F30-4422-B270-F39851152CAA.jpeg

  23. I agree with you on this car, every time I see it I get excited! It’s perfect in every detail. This is the way things should be done.

Here’s my 57 with original Radir wheels. It’s almost a twin to my first car that I bought in 1965 for $250. IMG_0471.JPG
